When I was 31, I had an epiphany while driving. The song “Hero” by Mariah Carey came on the radio and the words spoke to my spirit like never before. I was the hero of my own destiny. The “hero” of my life was me. The song still brings tears to my eyes and I listen to it when I’m feeling doubtful. Recognize the hero in you and stand confident in the knowing that you have everything you need.
