Do you have the nasty habit of “should-ing” on yourself? You know … Those moments where you feel guilt or shame because you “should” be doing this or “should” be doing that? When you find yourself covered in “should”, pick yourself up and ask, “Says who?” Very often the expectations that are created from a “should-y” moment weren’t ours to begin with. When we identify who set the expectation, it is easier letting it go and listening for our inner voice of clarity and self-love.
