We are taught from early on to comply and conform to cultural, societal and familial standards. It’s no wonder our first response is to look outside ourselves for our answers. We empower ourselves when we look within. Does this “feel” like me? Does this choice align with who I really am? Honoring and trusting our authenticity eliminates the need for the approval of others.
