Always stand up for what you believe in … even if you are standing alone. As difficult as this may be, it is so important to honor who you are in this way. When I have done this, I have actually made space for people who align with my beliefs and my standing alone becomes a magnet. If a situation requires that you compromise who you are, it is best to walk away. As the saying goes, “To thine own self be true.”
