Discipline can have such a negative feel to it. Yet it didn’t begin that way. It is derived from the Latin word disciplina which means to teach … not punish. In self-discipline, it is important to allow yourself the space for learning as well. Treat yourself with the kindness you would offer another who is learning and remember to celebrate every little success.
